hey guys
i was just called and was scheduled an interview although i really rreally didnt want to have to get one.

what should i expect? can people PLEASE let me know what went on in their interviews? like what kinds of questions were asked/ how long etc.
im really nervous and i really didnt want to have to go through one, but theres no backing out now.
thanks. i really appreciate it.

mine wasn't that bad at all, she only asked one of the canned questions that I had expected so I wouldn't go looking them up online and planning out answers (though I would think about personal strenghts, weaknesses, interests, why penn, etc.)

what will probably happen is you'll discover a common point of interest between you and the interviewer, and you'll just talk about that. A friend of mine just did his interview and he's a big xcountry kid, the interviewer liked to run, they just talked about running for a while.

interviews typically last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour

id tell u guys to relax...but that probably wont work...i had my interview last saturday and i was also nervous as hell.....but if u can...trust me that the interview will go fine...if you can carry on a conversation with your friends or teachers, you can talk to the interviewer...he or she may ask you some questiosn you might be unprepared for (like whats your biggest influence...biggest strength etc) and of course "why penn"...but for the most part...anon is right...youll end up talking about a common point...i told my interviewer that i like history and so we ended uo talking about politics for like twenty minutes...
