Since letters are starting to roll in and this board is becoming more popular again, I thought it would be a good idea for everyone on the board to introduce themselves so that we know some background information about you. I'm not talking SAT scores or GPA, just some interesting things about yourself. Also, for those already at USC, they can give some information that will help people who have questions know who to ask. So everyone join in the fun!

I'll go first here, and say a bit about myself. I am a Freshman at USC, living at Mark's Hall. I am in Thematic Option (TO) and have a full ride scholarship (Trustees).

Originally, I lived about half an hour away from campus, in a small upper middle class community. I love reading and the TV show ER, and have a rather unhealthy obsession with most musicals. So far, I have had a great time here at USC, and love the atmosphere and environment. Fight on!

Well hello! I am prospective student. A high school senior at the moment, and USC is my top choice. I have applied as a classical guitar major, and as the title suggests, I play classical guitar! I also play saxophone and sing!

I am an actor, musician, etc. and love musicals as well! My favortie is "SOngs for a New World". USC is my dream school, and hopefully I'll be numbered among its ranks next year.

Hey there, I'm Misoo. I'm a high school senior right now. I am currently a trustee candidate, so that's kind of exciting :) I live in NorCal and I applied as a history major to USC. I applied to the Bac/Med program, but didn't get in :( But I'm just crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get the trustee anyway.

A little random, but I think Matt Leinart is really ridiculously attractive lol But maybe I'm just weird.

You're not weird, lol.

I'm Laura, a HS senior still waiting to hear from SC. I applied to be an Anthropology major, but I'm interested in a lot of different things, so it's pretty likely I'll change my mind. I'm from Boston and I'm addicted to reality tv shows, trashy novels, and shopping. ha.

I'm Jeff from NJ. I've always loved So Cal. I love bodyboarding, and I'd like to avoid the 35 degree winter sessions I've become accustomed to (I wrote one of my essays on this). I'm a huge Dodger fan. I also love college football and basketball. I've been called "cheap" because I'm so careful with my money. I've always had a job and I'm always trying to find new ways to make money. Naturally I applied to Marshall. Yeah thats about all.

Well, I'm a Freshman at USC too, living in Parkside. I didn't get any scholarships, so I'm stuck working graveyard shifts at Leavey Library to pay for my tuition :(. I hail from Virginia, a place that I lived in my entire life and naturally wanted to escape from. Oh yeah, I'm an EE major, meaning I'm working my rear end off most of the time.

Oh, and for Misoobishi: I met Matt just a few weeks ago at the bookstore. Unfortunately, he's already taken.

lol, how do you like parkside? I'm stuck between that and north or new next year...

^ You lucky lucky..er...boy/girl? (Sorry, "redski59" is kind of ambiguous about gender :)) Though I would probably do something ridiculously psychotic if I met the guy (like...pounce on him), so maybe it's better off I don't meet him.

sigh Yeah I heard he was taken by some basketball player. Oh well. He's out of my league anyway lol

guidez89- Parkside is great in terms of being brand new rooms, private bathrooms. I think it depends on your social preferences. If you want a really social atmosphere, then you might want New/North instead. Parkside is somewhat social (thanks to all the activities the RAs cook up) but definitely not as social as the other dorms because of the suites arrangement. If there's one thing bad about Parkside, it's that you're required to take the Gold Meal Plan - not even Trojan is permitted. So you're stuck with 10 meals/wk at Parkside (or EVK for breakfast/lunch) along with 510 dining dollars. And I promise you that you will get bored of Parkside food fast; they have literally no variety of dishes.

Misoobishi- I'm a guy, actually. But he was with a girl when I met him; it was one of those times when no one goes to the bookstore (I think Thurs/Fri afternoon) but I had to buy something, so I happened to be coincidentally there when Matt and his girlfriend were there.

I'm a HS Senior from a farm/ranch in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. My high school has about 80 kids and I'm the first person from there ever to apply to USC. If I end up at USC, I'll be majoring in Psychology and staying in either New/North or the Radisson.
Oh yeah, my favorite TV shows are Boston Legal, Entourage, and Arrested Development.....unfortunately the last one got cancelled.

I also enjoy long walks on the beach, puppies, and drinking hot chocolate on a cold winter night.....lol
