Investment Banking Analsyst

I just graduated from USC (go Trojans!) with a Bachelor's of Science. My major was not business. However, I've always wanted to work in investment banking. My friend, a non-business major, too (computer science), is starting full time soon as a IB analyst in a firm in SF, but he worked as a summer analyst last year in NY for a different firm.

I don't have that experience, so I'm wondering how can I work as an investment banking analyst as a recent grad? I'm planning on doing my MBA in 3 or 4 years, but I don't want to wait till then to get into the IB business.

at this point it's pretty late so i think your best bets are to work for 2 years in the industry and get your mba.

boy, don't i know it. i should've been more proactive at start of my junior year.
