Investment Banking - Finance or Economics, etc?

I’m a senior in high school about to graduate soon. I have developed an interest in working in investment banking; however, I’m not sure if I should major in. I really like math, and I been considering majoring in finance; but I have been researching good majors for careers in investment banking and I seem a lot about Economics and other majors. So what do you think would be a good major for me? Also, could you explain to me what I would be study within that major.

P.S. I thought about majoring in Computer Science and Business Adminstration.

There is no need to pick a major now. In fact it does not make sense to pick a major now. If you want business then apply to business schools. You will start off by taking core business classes including intro. to subjects such as finance, IT, accounting, management etc. You will learn what the subject entail and you can see where your interests and aptitudes lie.

You saw a lot of econ majors largely because their universities do not have an undergraduate business school; e.g., Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, etc. If you are able to get into one of these universities, you can major in pretty anything and still give you good chance.

If you cannot get into one of these elite universities, a Finance major will serve you the best relative to the other majors for getting into wall street.
