Investment Banking

Hi I just wanted some insight into investment banking. I will be starting my first yeat at Princeton this fall hoping to major in economics. Then I would like to gain work experience at an investment firm and head to Harvard for my MBA. I am still battling the MBA/JD degree. What money making potential do bankers have? Also what is the average retirement age for a banker. I have read posts claiming bankers can make $1 million a year at their peak, and I was wondering with this type of income, if a person saves right, I would imagine they could retire at an early age. Thanks
