<p>I've toured Iowa State and done just a bit of research on it. Just recently I applied to Iowa State (safety school), and wondering if someone might have some opinions on the school? Or things I should know?</p>

<p>my bro goes to ISU...they have good engineering(and I guess sciences as a result..not sure), agriculture, and vet medicine. My understanding is that for anything else the University of Iowa would be better (or one of Iowa's many LAC's). Personally I would not be caught dead at ISU unless I was at one of the above programs. Dorms vary from great to meh...</p>
