iPhone for an international student

<p>hi,</p>

<p>i'm a senior international college student who's planning to get an iphone. i don't have a credit history, so i can't get a contract, and there is no apple retail store in my state (yay vermont!) so i was wondering, is there any way to get an iphone without a contract? i hear i can do it with a deposit - how does that work? any way to buy it without a contract?</p>

<p>You can buy one off eBay or Craigslist, and have it mailed to you address.</p>

<p>I think you have the option of putting down a $500 deposit with AT&T when you sign up for a two year contract if you don’t have any credit history. You can get your iPhone that way.</p>
