<p>Downloading music is illegal by RIAA standards even though its perfectly legal in Canada so that you will have to search. For legal bad quality music check iTunes.</p>
<p>I like white. You can buy covers for your ipod, so if you want to use a cover you shouldn't get black because the black will always show through. The covers come in colors like blue, green, pink, purple, etc. and you can take them on and off really easily.</p>
<p>You download music on itunes, which is a computer program that I think you can get off of the itunes website...I don't know exactly how to get it, sorry. You can find out how to get itunes when you go and buy your ipod. Do you know what kind you're getting?</p>

<p>i've got the old ipod (white, monochrome screen, no clickwheel)...and it broke today. and warranty ran out like 6 months ago. looks like i'm gonna have to spend another couple of hundred quid.</p>
<p>I have a white one...I think the black ones show scratches more, so make sure you get a case if you buy a black one. </p>
<p>And I use Bearshare....I tried the clean version of Limewire (Frostwire) but I was too lazy to figure out how it worked.</p>
<p>I have both. Before anyone accuses me of being a rich kid, it was because I bought a white video when it came out, then there was an assignment at school where I had to write an essay. The teacher submitted my essay to some competition and I ended up winning another, this time black, iPod. I tend to like the black iPod better. The screen looks so much sexier, because it's like a little gray box that floats on a shiny, sleek black background. The white is okay. In my opinion white iPods look uglier with scratches than black ones with scratches. </p>
<p>Beware, though. Apple should really look into the fact that iPods SCRATCH LIKE CRAZY! Get a decent case, because it scraches when you hold it, it scratches when you wipe it with a soft cotton cloth, it scratches even in a well-protected case if a little dirt gets in, it scratches when you place it neatly on a table. It scratches in virtually any scenario. Don't ever think of dropping it. It will die instantly. </p>
<p>I like PSPs too. They're much harder to scratch and I mean it. When I first got it and brought it to a school dance people put their hands all over it playing with it, and it got all sat on too. But not one scratch. Not even when two guys had a catfight and were pulling the PSP back and forth and then dropped it on the hard floor. I even think it has magical healing powers, because it used to have scratches on the back which mysteriously disappeared.</p>
