Hi, so today i took the SAT. And i was asking my friend if she's going to use the bathroom during the break and before that my friends were all talking to each other about the test, so i guessed all of us look like we're cheating . Then the proctor came in and asked me my seating number.

My question is that will i get reported for that? And if i do, would i have to sign something? Because i have heard somewhere that if they're going to report me..... I would have to sign a paper. Or they'll just delay and even cancel my scores?

Thanks

As long as College Board does not leave report, it wouldn’t affect your university admission. But if they leave some comments, it will affect your score. You should contact College Board ASAP to see what happened to your status.

Thanks for your answer :)

Wait, did they ask you to say something? I heard that if a student was reported, he would be given a form and asked to say something about the situation

Well she asked my seatimg number and i was like i was just asking my friend if she’s going to use the bathroom or not? Then she went “I already told you not to talk” So i told her my seatimg number and then she left. So i guess it was just a warning since i didnt fill in any forms?

The worst case is that the proctor writes a report including all of the seating numbers of students whom she thought were cheating. And then CB would check if such students’ tests have too many similar wrong answers.

Don’t worry too much, maybe you should ask your other friends and contact CB to see what happened !
