I am taking the SAT in january. I plan on studying 1 hr every day after school at the library. To study I will be doing the CB 2010 study guide and the CB 2010 question of the day book. However I am taking the SAT again at the end of the summer and do not want to deplete all my resources. I will probably not do to well my first time on the SAT ( I got a 178 on psat) but I plan on taking it a second time and getting a 2100+... My question is over the summer if I study for 1hr a day every day untill the test will it be enough.. OR will I just run out of resources?
SHould i just read the whole CB for each section then try taking a practice test once I read the section?
thanks for the help

PS. do you think after I got a 178 on my psat going up to a 2100 on my sat in 4 months is way to much of a jump to hope for?

I’d say the best thing to do is use a combination of RocketReview, Princeton Review practice papers and the Official blue book. Rather than depleting all of the blue book practice papers in one go, you should instead do a few from the PR book and a few from the blue book, while practicing some drills from RocketReview.

Going from 178 to 2100+ takes a fair bit of work. I got a 178 PSAT sophomore year, then a 192 Junior year, then a 2000 SAT end of Junior year and a 2190 at the beginning of Senior year. I just took it for the last time on December 5th. I’d say that my practice routine was much more intermittent because I’m an international student and have loads of things other than the SAT to worry about, but 1 hour of consistent practice each day sounds good.
