Is 11 apps too many?

<p>gadad-i think that if we began limiting applications we would see admit rates hit normal levels again. If everyone had to really pick and choose and only got to do X number of applications, they wouldn’t clog up schools they probably won’t go to and let the kids who really want to go there get in.
Just my thoughts</p>

<p>and my list only includes six, which i actually feel is too many…i’d really love to get it down to four…currently i have one safety, one reach and four matches, but i think two would be more than enough</p>

<p>a high number of applications may be appropriate when the list includes predominantly matches and reaches, as yours does. If you apply EA (should any of those places offer it), you could very well knock some places off your list. But 11 isn’t ridiculous…
15 is the start of the ridiculous threshold.</p>
