is 3.2 enough

I am a sophomore with a 3.2 gpa at UIUC. My major is materials engineering. Is this good enough to get a job. I have been an undergrad research assistant for a year now.

It sounds more a question for your career services or professors in your dept rather than to this forum which is for college admissions advice. Good luck

Raising your GPA will never hurt. But you could definitely get a job with such a GPA.

Generally speaking, the vast majority of engineering positions open up to anyone with a GPA of 3.0+. For some positions, that bar could be higher - say 3.2 or 3.5, but those jobs are in the minority.
