Is $70,000 per year for an undergraduate degree worth it?

@blossom that was a great post at 196. I was a full payer for my kid who is graduating in May from a top ranked institution. They met amazing students. They had amazing professors . They had three great summer internships as a result of their schooling. It was worth every penny. They also have their pick of fully paid grad schools which I think is in large part do to where they went to college. Is it for everyone. NO. Do some people thrive and flourish at full pay schools. Yes. (And yes my kid was a NMF and could have gone to University of Alabama or USC on a full scholarship but chose not to)

What irks me are the posters who make 250 to 300 k per year and complain it isn’t much money and they try all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify the cheapest option possible.
