I got a 230 AI but I don’t know if that’s a good score for Harvard? Can somebody provide some insight?
AI is mostly for recruited athletes. If you are being recruited it’s best to talk to the coach, but a 230 AI should be fine.
For regular admissions, it looks like you test scores and GPA are fine and Harvard will look at your ECs, essays, rigor, etc.
As one data point, one of my kids learned firsthand that an AI of 235 is sufficient for a recruited athlete.
230 for a non-recruit? Hard to say.
230 is a strong AI, likely high enough for any athletic team…top recruits in some sports, especially those of the helmet variety, can have much lower AIs, even below 200.
I’m not sure that any Ivy calculates AI regularly for non-athlete applicants.
Not sure how Cornell is going to calculate AI this year, as they are test optional and with 2/3 of the AI based on test scores, not sure the normal AI formula will work.
