Is A BA in Geology or A BA in Geology Going To Help?

Basically I want to get a BA and then do an internship and start working. Maybe later I want to get a masters. But I really love nature and math. I was thinking of getting the Associates Degree at my community college and then taking courses online to get my degree in Mathematics is that possible?
BA in Mathematical Sciences (online) Bachelors University of Illinois at Springfield

I think the minimum requirement for getting position in Geology at the professional level is a BS in Geology and many prospective employers, particularly in the oil industry, prefer someone with an MS.

You do geology? What is the difference between a BS and BA? BS is bachelors in Science and BA is Bachelors in arts?

Also I was thinking of Majoring in Math or Geology. I love nature and Math. In Geology there is math to. Do geologists travel a lot around the world are they in need?

How hards is Geology compared to math. I have done calc 3 already with An A.

You really shouldn’t decide to major in math just based on calc. I would wait to decide on majoring in it until you take real analysis or abstract algebra. Those courses will show you what math is really like.
