I would like to go into the IT field but I don’t want to do computer science as its only programming. Would a BBA with Information systems major be sufficient to become a system analyst?

its not suffcient. My buddies had a hard time getting internships at slo. Try San Jose State, they have a Management in Information Systems via Business Admin degree that is more accomadating to inters because of Silicon Valley and the ties to San Jose. Good Luck

Do you know if San Jose state have good job recruiting if I decided to go into MIS?

Yes all the time. You should attend one of their job fairs to see for yourself. Sjsu is located in the heart of the big tech companies and undergraduates are offered jobs before graduation. Also for the MIS emphasis, it is the highest paid emphasis in the business administration category. There is also a bunch of other information about the major located on their site with statistics and recruiters. Hope this helps.
