Is a International Studies degree a good idea?

<p>I really would like to travel internationally in my future career so I am planning on getting an International Studies degree and then go into International Law. Are there jobs out there for that? Is that a wise idea or should I major in something else? </p>

<p>What really interests me is the travel as well as the legal system, but mainly the travel. Are there any other careers that I can go into that I could travel with? (I really don't want to to do international business) Ideally, I would like to work at a N.G.O. overseas somewhere, suggestions?</p>

<p>You only need a passport if you just want to travel. No degree needed.</p>
