Is a score of 2000+ a realistic goal for me?

On my last diagnostic test I scored an 1840, unfortunately:/. Math :660 CR: 560 Writing: 620 subcore: 67, Essay :7. I seem to make alot of careless mistakes in math. I reviewed my last diag and realized that there were 10 questions that I knew how to answer but I missed them bc I was careless. I could've had a 730! In the writing section I wrote a bs Essay and if I got a 10 my score would've been like a 710, I missed out on 90 valuble points and 160 points in total smh. Even though I've been careless, I know I still have alot of work to do. Is a score of 2000+ by November, a realistic goal for me?? I'm trying to go to an Ivy League College. Also do you guys have any tips on how to focus better?

Bump for you. I’m in your shoes as well bud

bump for me.

HONORLIONS. What do you mean by bump for me??

it’s realistic as long as you use the right resources and you’re willing to work hard. i had the same problem with silly mistakes in math. before i used to think that they would just take care of themselves and i wouldn’t make them on the real test. after my first score, i realized i had to work actively on it. so i got 5 sat math practice tests for my math, and 5 sat writing practice tests for my writing. these books helped me pick up hundreds of the points that i left on the table during my first test.

you could probably get in the 2100-2200 range in about 3-4 months or less if you work diligently and follow the advice on here. Use the Collegeboard Blue Book to take practice tests. Read Noitaraperp’s Guide (it’s in the stickies) and Review EVERY answer, regardless of whether it is right or wrong.

You could get a 2000 if you didn’t make those 10 careless errors and focused more on CR and your essay.
