<p>Well I hope it is, since right now my son’s stats are less than yours! (Waiting on Oct SAT scores.) My son is just on the wrong side of the top 5%, but the school is huge - it’s decent, but not “very competitive”.</p>
<p>Gtown only looks at math and reading. I had a 1560/1600, and it seems like a score in the mid-15s will help you get in. However, I have non-urm and non-varsity athlete friends who had scores in the low 1300s out of 1600. One of the main factors that many applicants overlook is geography, two student with the same stats in different states can have entirely different admissions outlooks. For example, it is much harder to get in from Connecticut (due to an abundance of statistically qualified students) than from Idaho. Regardless of where you live, I think it is certainly worth your time and money to apply- I would gander that your chance of admission varies from 30%-100% depending on where you live. Im in class of '13 btw.</p>
