Can I ask for volunteer hours from them (my school keeps track)?
If I can, can I put “intern at X Company” on the application and still have volunteer hours ?

<p>Usually internships and volunteering/community service are two completely different experiences. Whatever you do with your internship experience, choose one category but not both. </p>

<p>If you REALLY wanted to specify, you could just say "Volunteer intern at X Company", and it would mean the same thing.</p>
