I was curious as to know if an MBA can be used to get a Business Analyst position or whether it's only to become a manager.

In the long term I want to get into strategy or management consulting. However, I have a science degree. How could someone in my position or someone without a econ/engineering/business degree get into consulting?

“Is an MBA only for management?”

Of course not.

If your science degree is in biology/bme/etc., you can do healthcare consulting along with other types of consulting. If your science degree isn’t in biology/bme/etc., you can still do strategy/management consulting. You basically need two qualifications to break into consulting: 1. good school, and 2. rock the cases.
