<p>Hey, I'm a sophomore in high school (in CA~)..um.. I'll get to the point. I always wanted to attend Harvard, but through my sophomore year, I noticed there are so much more better (smarter) ppl than me...This year, AP World is the only AP class I'm taking, but because I procrastinate so much I'm not doing so well. I kind of wanted a 4.17 for this semester, but I can only get 4.0 at best. And probably, I'll get a 3 on the AP Test. Well, I think to myself, if I'm struggling with this one AP should I even try for Harvard?.. I'm really depressed...Cause I see SO many people with crazy GPAs and EC's.. Do you really need to win a pulitzer prize to go to Harvard? (haha. --) I just really want to talk to someone. Can anyone give me advice and help me out ?(someone who's attending Harvard right now)..haha;; PM me too~</p>

<p>I go to Harvard now, and all I can say is- stop worrying about this, you'll just end up losing your hair at 17.</p>
<p>You must be under a lot of stress (like a lot of high schoolers are these days), but are you really so worried about it that you need validation from people that got into these schools that you put up on a pedastal?</p>
<p>You're in high school, don't waste it thinking about college. Do high school stuff! Get drunk! Date girls! Crash your car! (Don't do all three at the same time, you'll get arrested for DWI and the girl might dump you.) Play sports! Hang out with guys! Every once in a while, LEARN something in school!</p>
<p>Life ISN'T about college, and it sure as hell isn't about preparing for college. Work hard in school, play hard outside of school, and the rest, including college, will fall into place.</p>
