Losing friends to graduation sucks. Seriously, I haven't been this bummed out in a long time.

Do you mean that you graduated or many of your friends did?

2 of my good friends just graduated, it sucks. I’m proud of them for graduating and getting their first 9-5 “real jobs” and all that, but they both had to move pretty far.

My boyfriend’s graduating next year and I’m not looking forward to that (he’s a senior, I’m a junior). We’ve been together for 2 years now. He wants to stay here in NYC, but damn it’s expensive, so who knows : (

I’m really not looking forward to graduating myself, and seeing all my good friends scatter across the country for jobs. I know we’ll all try to stay in touch, but talking on the phone or Facebook sure isn’t the same. Gah, I wish we could all stay in NYC and be like the characters on Friends but that ain’t gonna happen lol :/

I didn’t lose my high school friends until junior year of college, and by that point I didn’t miss them because we had nothing in common anymore. I’m not sure what college graduation will be like.

I do remember it sucking when I had friends that graduated and left me. That was a little different. But we stayed in touch and ultimately stayed good friends for another year or two. I suspect I won’t keep in touch with anyone after college graduation.
