Is AP Psychology a Good Choice Considering My Schedule.

This is my junior year schedule at the moment:

AP Physics 1
Spanish 4
Sports Medicine
English 11 Honors
US Virginia History Honors
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry
(Elective Slot)

I have heard that AP Psychology was the easiest AP course and thought that if I could at least manage a 3.0 in the class, the GPA boost would bring it to a 4, making it worth to take over a normal elective (I would probably get a 4.0 in the elective). If I get a 5.0 in AP Pysch (including the GPA boost), it would boost my overall GPA, which is a 4.118 right now. Should I try a bit harder and push for AP Psychology to get the potential GPA boost? On the downside, it might take more time away from after-curriculars and it might be harder than expected.

Why are you taking two lab sciences? I would only take one.
And then add AP Psych.

Were you planning on taking AP Physics C or AP Bio in 12th grade? If not I would save AP Chem until 12th since you already have AP Physics. Otherwise, AP Psych would be good, it’s a relatively easy class that’s a normal one semester class in college stretched out over one year. Also, AP English Language if you wanted to upgrade isn’t too bad either and getting a 4 or 5 should help you skip a class in college.

Highly Reccomend thay if you going to take hard classes like AP Chem & AP Physics, Pick only 1 because that class is very hard, and switch one of them either to a free period, easy class/blowoff class or put a class that you have an interest in don’t worry about your gpa, as long as you are challenging yourself and have afterschool activities, you have a high chance of being accepted to college

Believe me, AP Chem and Physics are incredibly tough classes. There’s no need to do both of them, and considering your GPA is pretty good, I wouldn’t worry about adding another class just to push it higher.

Save AP chem for senior year and take AP Psych
Or
Keep both Sciences, don’t take AP psych, drop sports medicine.
