As the EA decision date is around Dec 15 which are too close to the winter break. I will have to submit my common application to other colleges before MIT EA result comes out. If I get in MIT EA, I will withdraw my application from about seven colleges. If that is the case, does anybody know if I could get those application fee back?

I don’t understand why you have to submit the regular decision applications before they’re due.

Why can’t you submit them during winter break?

I’m quite sure application fees are non-refundable.

The school GC may not be available after 20th of Dec and application deadline is Jan 1st.
They ask me to submit common app first so that they can submit their part.

You should see if you can go ahead and have the GC put his/her evaluation in before you submit your application. I believe you should be able to. Then, if you are accepted to MIT and no application appears, they would just toss the GC evaluation.

The websites for those colleges will say if the fee is refundable or not.
I would be very surprised if any of them indicated it was refundable.

They are not refundable. Otherwise every ED candidate would get refunds.
