Is ASSIST wrong?

Ok so on assist it say that for a certain course in comm studies, nothing articulates for it at pcc for UCLA.

But as SMC the course articulates. So I looked at the course on the SMC website and typed in virtually the same name on the pcc website and the same course showed up with the same amoun as credits.

So is assist wrong or something? Please help thank you!

Are you talking about pasadena city college? if so, there is 6 courses…

Assist isn’t wrong, it’s just those PCC courses aren’t considered satisfactory equivalent.

yes i am talking about pasadena city college. Do you go there? and if you do, does pcc offer ALL of the pre reqs for the major?

As stated above, there are six courses that articulate from PCC to UCLA for communication studies. The rest that are marked as “course not articulated” means that PCC does not offer a course equivalent to what UCLA offers, thus UCLA will not accept it to satisfy the major prep requirements. UCLA finds the courses offered as SMC equivalent to what they offer, thus they offer transfer credit for it.
