Is Austin Peay a good school

To keep it simple, I am looking at colleges (I am a non traditional student, I'm 21). I can move back home and go to George Mason but I am skeptical about getting in. Austin Peay is near where I live and I have heard that it is a good school. These reports come from people in the Clarksville area. I want to move back to Washington DC, near where I am from. I eventually want to attend Grad School but after working for a little bit (Unless I get into a school and/or cant find a job).

My intended major is Finance, Economics, Accounting or Marketing with a minor or Double major in Law. I am still considering other majors but these are my main choices.

So if GMU doesnt work out, how is APSU on the ranks of my intended education path? Is APSU a reputable school or will people look at the school and simply use it as TP.

Thank you.

The reason APSU was brought up was because I am a blue collar worker in the Jackson, TN area. I have a history with less than desirable grades but was told that I have a really good shot at APSU (They have like a 90% acceptance rate) and its still a really good school.

It’s an average college, with about 3.1GPA/1000 SAT admissions, but a dismal 16% graduation rate in 4 years (for that selectivity, you could expect at least twice that, if not triple.)
For finance and economics, a degree from GMU, or James Mason, or MWU, would serve you much better.
Where do your parents live and pay taxes? Because that’s where you’d be considered “in state” thus where it’d be cheapest for you to attend.
