You're almost there!! The letter E appears THREE times
in Berkeley. :)

I have trouble with that too.

what are the cedentials for getting to Berkeley? I was thinking of going there but dont't know if I qualify....can anyone give me some help here?

in-state undergrads typically are 3.8-4.0, top 10% and SAT's minimum 2200. the hardest UC campus for admission. the law school (Boalt) typically culls the top 10% of California undergrads with the highest scores on the LSAT. since CA has removed affirmative action on UC campuses as an admission criteria, the difficulty of getting in has increased. Heavily weighted with top-level asian students who have focused on this goal 100%. UCB no longer guarantees students in their local area will be admitted; they refer many highly qualified applicants to other UC campuses. Go for it! Especially if you have National Merit or other status.

Hey, it could be done. My apologies, I hate it when I miss obvious details like that.

UC schools are near impossible for out of state... and out of country students.
Whereas most colleges will accept either perfect (or near perfect) stats OR outstanding ECs, to get into UCs as out of state, you'll need perfect stats AND outsanding ECs

Near impossible? 21% acceptance rate? I admit this stat is a bis misleading since OOS applicants tend to be more qualified than IS prospies. Still, I would not call it near impossible. Also, take into account that those who apply OOS tend to apply to impacted majors where there is already significant competition.
