<p>I'm a Senior in High School and would like to go Pre-Med in college. Just want to know if biomedical sciences would be the best major. If so, which schools would be best preferably in the Northeast, or Atlantic region.</p>
<p>You can major in anything and go to med school, as long as you take the pre-requisite courses that are required, and of course by taking the MCAT.</p>
<p>As mentioned above, your major can be anything, with the pre-med courses taken around it. Note that biology majors tend to have poor job and career prospects at the bachelor’s level (an important consideration because most pre-meds do not get into any medical school).</p>
