I know that my stats especially SAT aren't stellar for Wash U and U Chicago(prbly need to be about 50 pts higher in Math and CR) but I was seriously wondering how big of an impact Boys Nation would have on college admissions. Boys Nations consists of the top 96 boys from the entire country and I have heard rumors that top college recruiters actually attend Boys Nation to find prospects. I am very interested to here what other ppls opinion on this matter is and what kind of impact Boys Nation actually has.

"The top 96 boys from the entire country." Are you for real?

I was wondering the same thing for Girls Nation....i am guessing it should be highly valued especially since very few are selected to attend.

Yes two delegates from each Boys State(48 states represented) equates to a total of 96 delegates making it quite a noteworthy accomplishment

Ah yes, I see, all the smartest kids from each state line up to apply. Get real. It's no hook.

Each state has over 1000 delegats so 96 out of 48000+ is pretty good collegekid100 Thats less than 1/4 of a percent. Its hard enough to even get selected Boys State, let alone Boys Nation

Not every state has over 1000 delegates. California's a huge state and only has 900 delegates this year.

I'd say it's pretty hook-ish. For those of you who don't know, one must get elected to a high office (Governor, Senator, etc.) in the state to go onto Boys' Nation. I agree it's pretty good just to be a delegate (whole interview process and everything).

dude
its a hook for life
haha ivy recruiters
