I know that my stats especially SAT aren't stellar for Wash U and U Chicago(prbly need to be about 50 pts higher in Math and CR) but I was seriously wondering how big of an impact Boys Nation would have on college admissions. Boys Nations consists of the top 96 boys from the entire country and I have heard rumors that top college recruiters actually attend Boys Nation to find prospects. I am very interested to here what other ppls opinion on this matter is and what kind of impact Boys Nation actually has.

I can't really answer your question but can relate an anecdote. I work in a small, fairly rural school district. About 5 years ago, we had a student who was one of our state's Boys Nation reps. He was accepted to Harvard. The admissions person told the high school counselor that he was the first student accepted to Harvard from the rural part of our state in over 40 years. This student was an very strong student, but not the strongest in his class of about 120. I don't know his ACT or SAT scores, but we had no National Merit finalists that year. The top ACT score in the district was 32 and it wasn't him. He didn't have a 4.0. The counselor thinks that thing that got him in was Boys Nation. He attended and did quite well.
