Is Case Western or Northeastern better for these majors?

I am planning on applying to graduate school after my undergrad, and I would prefer to graduate in four years.

  1. Economics
  2. English
  3. Political Science
  4. Physics

With a minor in studio art available.

Which school has a more lenient major policy? I am concerned about NEU as the major I applied with is already my declared major. At case, I won’t have to choose until the end of my sophomore year, and it seems easier to double (choose to double, that is… from what I hear there are insane loads of coursework).

These are my two best choices, but I don’t know which would be better/more impressive grad schools for humanities/social sciences.

Northeastern is built around co-ops, so four academic years of courses will be mixed with co-op jobs typically taking five years to graduation.

Northeastern has a good deal of combined programs, and switching between majors and colleges is pretty easy because of the flexibility needed for co-op. As mentioned above, Northeastern is usually a 5 year school - if you want to do 4 years, the max co-op’s you’d get in is two and it would use up pretty much all of your summers.

They are peers when it comes to how grad schools will view them for pretty much all of those subjects. My only note is that English would likely be stronger at Case as far as I can tell.

It sounds like Case would be the better fit for your situation.
