Every year the entering class at Harvard Law School includes a few students from CCNY and several from other CUNY campuses, notably Hunter College, Brooklyn College and Baruch College.

As was said, Baruch College's top MBA and CPA alumni have no problem getting lucrative employment in New York City.

CUNY Honors alumni have been recently admitted to schools of medicine like Penn State University.

How about 2 Rhodes Scholars in 2005, one from Brooklyn College and one from CCNY!
P.S. Eugene's brother Kevin, now a senior at NYU CAS just won a Rhodes this year. That makes them only the 6th pair of siblings to win Rhodes scholarships (5 brothers and 1 brother/sister).

slipper, that's true, of course. But NYU is getting increasingly difficult to get into and very expensive. A problem for the majority of kids and parents. Below that level are there any colleges worthwhile attending in NYC...

I just know new york business and recruiting isn't that great for CUNY. Sure you'll get a "job" but not nearly as great a job as from a more reputable school. Top firms don't have CUNY on the radar.
