<p>I have read in few posts on cc and a blog that getting into Civil(undergrad) in UIUC is the toughest or one of the toughest programs to get into. Is this true?</p>
<p>And yes I want to feel a tiny bit better for getting into Civil as most of my friends have got into UIUC :p</p>

<p>I’m not sure exactly how hard civil engineering is to get into, but I believe that bioengineering is the most selective, with mechanical engineering a close second. I was told that this year bioe only accepted 55 of 700 applicants…</p>
<p>That said, getting into any engineering program at UIUC is still a great accomplishment. The College of Engineering is definitely the most prestigious one on campus.</p>
