I’ve seen a lot of bad safety ratings at Clemson, but some students I asked there when I was on tour said they’ve never felt unsafe there. Clemson U is my top choice right now, but the safety ratings have got me all worried! For those who attend or have graduated from the univeristy, how safe would you say the campus is? A rating from 1 to 10 would be helpful 
On campus, you’ll be fine. I’m a small 100lb girl and I’ve walked across the entirety of campus at night multiple times feeling safe, though there are a few parts here and there that aren’t well lit at night. I called CUPD once about my neighbors having a fight and they got there within (I’m not kidding) a minute. So no, I don’t think you should be concerned about safety.
