I’m currently deciding between A&M, Baylor and UTD, and I’m strongly A&M but the only thing that really turned me off about the college was where exactly it is located, which is pretty rural. I know a good bit about the college, but what about the environment/city? If I’m going to be living there for the next four years, I just want to know if it’ll be worth it.
I lived in Bryan/College Station for 10 years. The area has grown tremendously since I left and has become more than just the university. It’s not that rural, no more so than Waco.
Would you say that the people are nice and such and that there is things to do?
The people are great. I came there from New York and couldn’t have felt more welcomed. There is plenty to do, both within the university and outside of it. It might not be able to rival Dallas for night life, and it may depend on what you’re in to.
Ah okay cool, this really helps me out a lot! Thank you Keep em coming guys
