Is Comparative Politics AP good for Area or Ethnic Studies

I hope yo study various Area and Ethnic Studies in college. Is the Comparative G&P AP Exam worthwhile for those types of majors?

Depends on the school you’re looking at and whether or not they give credit. The CompGov curriculum is worthwhile for most humanities majors. AP Human Geography would be better for Area and Ethnic Studies, though.

Any of the social studies or humanities subjects could be applicable to area or ethnic studies, since area or ethnic studies is just a different way of dividing the universe of social studies and humanities into subject areas.

For example, history, geography, literature, art, and political science are traditional subject areas across various areas or ethnic groups. An area or ethnic studies subject area (e.g. African American studies or East European studies) would include the history, geography, literature, art, and political science in or relating to that area or ethnic group.
