yea i agree, i mean there are differences, that's why someone would choose one over the other, but we can also agree that both are equal in "caliber" haha dare i bring up the word again

location is definitely a big thing. I'm debating if I want to stay in Boston or go to Ithaca.

domestically they r equal, but CU definitely has much better international prestige than NU, it's obvious, no questions, I mean specially in Asian countries, cornell is even more well known than columbia, brown, dartmouth UPenn, it's right behind HYP......but of course..they are more or less equal when u compare them in most other aspects

lol sametwochords made me laugh when he thought that gome was being serious.

just defending my honor, figgy

haha jk (sort of) :p

btw, in response to gomestar

u obviously have the wrong cornell kid b/c i have exactly 146 northwestern friends

be aware that there are 2 other cornell transfers here that i've met

its a bit creepy that ur using facebook to spy on ppl; at least get ur facts correct

nah, i was just looking up people from my spanish 123 class, you happened to take it last semester and i saw "Northwestern '09" and became intrigued.

also, it's you. How ironic is it that two students from the same hometown region of the US, same freshmen year school, same major, same classes last semester (at least 1), also a presidential research scholar, same graduating year, same transfer school, same sport mentioned as an 'activity' (you have mentioned tennis in the past), and your vernacular on these boards would be a reflection of the same musical preference of G-Unit. It's clear that this other kid had no social life either nor joined any clubs or activities outside the classroom. Either the statistics gods have created a mutant being, or you're just trying to cover yourself.

most importantly, who since discovering that i know who you are decided to block your profile from other students? YOU!

146? Give me a break, divide that number by 10 and you still don't have the same number. The Cornell number was also really weak, in the 30's. Get out and do something!!

um, sorry to break it to you, but my profile is completly off limits from ppl I am not friends with...so there is absolutely no way you have the right person

get a life buddy, you might seriously need one when you're working human resources for some investment bankers

peace

"my profile is completly off limits from ppl I am not friends with"

yes, now it is ... but it wasn't a few days ago, only unil you discovered that i figured out who you are. You just very recently blocked others from seeing you. This is just another way i'm 100% positive it's you. Plus, why would you get so defense if it wasn't you?

"get a life buddy"

haha, get a friend - just one real one will do!!! lol!!

"you might seriously need one when you're working human resources for some investment bankers"

actually, that would be a great idea. The intro HR jobs i've been looking at pay only a little bit less than the Ibankers - yet require sooo much less work!!! Ibanking give you no life - though if you dont have one in the first place, no problem (right, bball?)

PS - you look like a tool with the popped collar and have eyebrows like a Yetti. :)

hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

Suggestion: Respect personal privacy.

If you'll look, I havn't posted any personal information; and even if I had, I'd just be picking out stuff from a public profile, totally legit in the eyes of the law.

I choose my battles wisely.

hahahaha yea this is just really funny

privacy? pshaaa

lol this is entertaining. If you don't know who simbajune is...don't worry he earned this lol

hahahah... this is what i call priceless:) its hilarious, and figgy, i like the added, "don't worry he earned this"! and Gome, I must praise you for, “eyebrows like a Yetti” hahahah… you made my day :)apologies for detracting from the serious mood (sarcastic tone!)

lol @ "i dont know what PWNED!! means"

haha i know that he meant owned, i was being sarcastic, if that wasn't obvious...

man, why couldn't you just let me have my laugh :P

haha sorry

Cornell really isn't that hard. Do your work, keep up with assignments, go to lecture/section, and you'll be fine. Honestly, I've seen posts on this board where people say in engineering you'll be so bogged down you can't go out, or that prelims are just so stressful, everything's so hard...just not true. It's tough for sure, and I study more than most people know (pretty much everyone I guess), but still go out every Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes Thursdays (after a prelim), have been to see probably 10 concerts since I've been here (some in Syracuse even), and I have friends who don't do **** but go to lecture who are still managing a B average. The only people that will really get owned are those that don't study at all, skip every other lecture, etc...
