Is CS 1112 for non-CS majors?

I’m an incoming first year planning on majoring in CS. I just enrolled in CS 1112, but afterwards I found out that people recommend CS majors take CS 1110. Will it be terribly hard for me later on as I take CS 2110?

CS 1112 is the course my daughter took - she was well prepared for all future CS classes and yes, she was a CS major. She loved the class.

Thank you so much!

1110 > 1112 assuming that you are studying CS because you have an interest in it and have programmed previously. 1112 is for those who have never done anything in CS before–ie, the “I like the starting salaries of CS majors, so I will major in that” types.
