In general, the HS record weighs more for sop than for jr transfers.

um....you arent required to submit the secondary school report.

According to the D website, they want the secondary school report:

last year i applied as a transfer and i didnt send it, yet my file was complete. Interesting!

Were you a junior or a sophomore applicant?

For anyone who hasn't sent in their college transcripts yet, the Dartmouth Transcript Report form is now available on the CA website. However, if you've already sent it, don't worry, I called D this morning and they said that it is not necessary to have it as it just provides some basic student information.

Still no D supplement on the CA and they actually took the part referring to their transfer supplement off their website.

I was a junior, and im applying again as a junior lol...i took a semester off, so i am part-timer.

just making sure: we don't have to submit any supplements, do we? the one in commonapp.org is for the class of 2012.

Doesn't look like there's a supplement to me. Nothing on either the D website or the CA that has a supplement.

thank you, entomom! i was thinking of that too.

You're welcome, good luck!

There's a Comm App supplement now, but it asks for "early decision or regular decision" so I suppose it's a Freshmen admissions supplement?

^^ There is no supplement for transfer applicants this semester.

So stop fretting about it :)

Does anyone know how high your GPA has to be from other top 20 universities to have a competitive chance at Dartmouth as a transfer student?

Thanks!
(PS. I know that the deadline is up for this year, but I'm referring to next yr)

VandyHopeful, what has influenced your decision to want to leave Vandy?
