Hello, all:
Some questions:
1.Is DEC H embeded in CS major? (CSE312,...?)

I just finished my transfer student orientation yeaterday, the advisor told me ADV101 is optional, so I dropped it... Question: How many "seminar" class(es) do transfer students need to take?( I know new freshman need to take 2 seminar courses)

After matriculated, can I take courses at a community college during summer to fulfill SBU DEC requirements?

312 isn’t H, but 301 is. However that is not a required course for CSE and can’t be counted towards a CSE elective credit. So I guess any dec H will do.

[Stony Brook Undergraduate Bulletin - Fall 2012 - CSEDegrees & Requirements](http://sb.cc.stonybrook.edu/bulletin/current/academicprograms/cse/degreesandrequirements.php)

I believe you can do CC classes, but since you transferred you may already have a large number of transferred credits, so you should find out how many more you would be able to transfer. I believe this is a max, or rather a minimum number of credits that need to be taken at Stony

Disregard what the poster above said. D.E.C H is embedded in your major, that 312 and 300 that you are REQUIRED to take takes care of D.E.C H requirement.
