I'm an SAT word!!!

So you are a pretender? :P
(poseur = s/o who tries to impress other people in an insincere way)

The DH books were a big help on the Dec. SAT. For example the words toady and martinet were answer choices for one of the sentence completions. Both of these were in DH Vol. 1 but were not on the RR list and only martinet was on the list posted here by meadow36.

Really? Anyone else thinking DH was a big help for the Dec SAT??

I missed more Sent Compl than the passage-based reading questions (big surprise) so I'm thinking that I should get DH..if I only miss 1 Sent Comp..then my CR score could go up alooot.

Is it really worth the 26 dollars or whatever someone else said? I already have Barrons and PR..but it's really tiring to go through those lists..

That's weird. I've actually never heard of that book. I'm gonna buy one!! Sounds really helpful. I'm memorizing the words in Word Smart right now, and I'm planning to look at the Barrons3500. what do you guys think of wordsmart and barrons?

Wait, so Wi**** is wistful? I was really confused because I thought it was wi$#it or wif**k or something. Lol.

don't bother with barrons 3500. i recommend going by overlaps. acquire as many lists from as many sources as possible and pay most attention to the ones that appear most frequently. i got a 760 with that method but i'm going to resort to DH to try for the 800.
