Is diversity a problem at UCLA?

I'm asian myself, but in high school I hang out with a really mixed crowd of people. I don't like to only hang out with one crowd of people so would you guys say there is a problem of diversity at UCLA? Cause from what I've heard and seen, it look like all asians and whites basically...And I'm a bisexual, asian (yet not very asian acting) theater nerd...where do i go? :[

hey tetrabane,

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. From what I’ve experienced, there are groups of all sorts - including mixed crowds of people. You’ll be surprised how diverse groups are at UCLA. There is an LGBT frat too if you’re interested. If you come here, make sure you choose a “Hall” as your housing–they are very social, with over 100 people on a floor so you are bound to make friends.

absolutely NOT.

Let me tell you, Im Asian, and I hang out with asians and non asians and etc. Heck my best friend is this white chick and indian and mexicans and asians, so trust me, there is absolutely no problem with finding friends in any race in the world. it’s the personality that matters to me most, not the face, cause if someone thinks its just the face, that’s just a *****y friend. gotcha back

Diversity is only a problem if you’re in Engineering.

Ye, no girls! Sausagefest in school and workforce! No bueno unless yer bi.

haha well alright, guess i have nothing to worry about then. Thanks guys!
