Is getting into med school "impossible" from JHU?

So we've all heard that JHU is the godliest place to do premed, but we've all ALSO hear that 30% of a grade is pre med at JHU. On top of that, all the pre meds are smart, and the science classes at JHU are super tough. GPA's can be easily destroyed, and the committee will refuse to write you a letter if you have a 3.2. Sure, Hopkins prepares you to have a good MCAT score, but do you guys think that maybe--just maybe, JHU isn't the best place to do pre med?

the average gpa in engineering no less is a 3.3 at Hopkins. Make of that what you will. If the school was actually that intense, it wouldn’t be that high.

3.3 isn’t considered “high” – That number could hurt them on medical/graduate school applications.
