<p>hello all. I am an up and rising junior in high school and I am very interested in international relations. I love the historical aspect of it, and ive alwas been riveted by poltiics and government issues. I've been doing some research and I saw how people who have degrees in international relations could possibly work for particular government departments, and I am very fascinated by this. However, I am a little bit worried that if I do end up majoring in this field in college that I won't get a good job with relatively good pay. Am I right to be worrying? Is there really not that many government jobs? If not, what other career paths could I go on through a degree in international relations? I live in MA and my number one will most likely be Tufts, which has an amazing International Relations major. Please help!</p>
<p>Not all jobs for IR majors are jobs with the government. There are many other types of agencies and organizations involved in international work.</p>
