Will applying to more scholarships decrease your chances of becoming a finalist for those scholarships?
I was told that the big guys in charge would assume you’ll become a finalist for another scholarship and so your chances of actually receiving scholarships would decrease when you apply for more.
It sounds like a myth to me though. Still, is it true?
Total myth, but probably also a total waste of time. The best scholarships come from the schools themselves.
How would the people administering one scholarship even know you had applied for others? There are no “big guys in charge” of all the scholarships in the world.
I thought so. Thank you for the responses!
