(I'm an entering freshman, so I don't know what general "email etiquette" is.)
Should I use my normal email to email a professor to arrange a time for a placement exam, or should I use the Dartmouth email?
I'm assuming it would a lot of sense to use Dartmouth email, but I'm just making sure?

You’ll be less likely to hit the spam folder if you use your school address

Got it. Thank you.

Using your Dartmouth account basically verifies you as a 17. Definitely appropriate and recommended.

IIRC,

there will be placement exams done during the first couple of days of orientation

Blitz! And Dartmouth professors tend to be quite responsive to email, but using etiquette (e.g. not writing the emails like text messages) is a good idea.
