Is it bad if I don't take organic chemistry? Advice please!

I am on the pre-physical therapy track. I have taken General chemistry (got a B+) and received A's in my biology and psychology classes. I am planning NOT to take Organic Chemistry because the graduate schools for PT do not require orgo...however, will it be looked down upon that I basically avoided organic chemistry? I don't want to take it if it is going to lower my GPA and it is not even an important course in PT career path.

Advice please!!

If it’s not considered important and/or required for your specific field, nobody will care.

When I was an undergrad, organic chemistry was a prerequisite course in order to take biochemistry and eukaryotic genetics. While I don’t use much organic chemistry in my day to day life, I wouldn’t be where I am now without training in biochem and genetics. Ask an advisor, that is what they are there for.
