A few weeks ago, I visited the University of Michigan, particularly the Ross School of Business. I am a current high school junior, and want to study business.

On the tour, I talked with a man currently in the field of business (his daughter was on the tour). I told him my concern, that I would have no desire to go to Michigan if not accepted into Ross.

He told me that people who study business as an undergrad AND get their MBA are known as "pinheads" in the business world, people who know NOTHING other than business.

So my question for you:
Is it better to get a more liberal arts education, then get an MBA?

Or, if I am passionate about going into business should I stick to what I enjoy? Is it possible to get a well rounded education in a business school?

Thanks in advance.
