Is It Better to Fill Out the CSS Profile on Saturday?

I know with the FAFSA, it's best to complete the form the day it comes out because it increases chances of more aid, but does it matter at all with the CSS profile? Should I do it this Saturday when it comes out?

Also, does the CSS application ever expire? If a school's deadline is Feb 15, will the profile be available that late?

Thank you

Submit the CSS before the deadline of the college. I don’t believe filling it the earliest date gives you any advantage, but it can’t hurt. Please remember it costs $16 (I think) to submit the CSS to each college.

I copied this from another post (thanks annasdad):

Yes, after some research, the consensus seems to be that you just need to fill it out before the school’s due date.

I was a little confused by this, thanks for the reply.

I have a question:

When you add colleges and then register the Profile, does it send the form to all colleges? What if after you register you change your mind about a college or want to add another?

I got a question:
Do I have to choose all of my colleges at the very beginning, during registration? because my college list is not yet complete, but I did my early application and now I have to fill the CSSprofile for it. Will I be able to alter the list of schools I will apply for financial aid later on?

You can submit your Profile at a later date to other colleges…for their fee, of course (it’s never free so you would be paying anyway).

Our kiddo submitted the Profile to one school for an EA priority deadline and then to the rest later.
